The National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung'u on Thursday unveiled the 2024/25 budget estimates.
The 2024/2025 budget presented in Parliament is estimated to cost Sh3.91 trillion.

In the budget, it is proposed that excise duty on gumbling be raised from the current 12.5 per cent to 20 per cent.
Price of bread is also expected to go up as the Treasury remains mute on any plans to eliminaate 16 per cent VAT.
