President Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement of ODM leader Raila Odinga was met with mixed reactions among leaders from the Mt Kenya region.
While some expected the move and in fact lauded it, others expressed reservation, retreated and moved to the rival camp.
Most MPs who remained with the President have been backing him since it was apparent that his relationship with deputy president William Ruto had gone south.
As it stands, many MPs from Mt Kenya back Ruto while the remaining few are still with the president in the Azimio camp.
