The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) has not posted a bid for the supply of Mursik milk. 

In a doctored advert that has circulated online, it stated that the organisation is seeking a tender for the supply and delivery of mursik. 

It also stated that the closing date for the application is June 20, 2023, at 10:00 am. 

The correct position is, the Electricity transmission company has indeed placed an advertisement for tender notice for only four bids, contrary to the fake one, which has up to five slots. 

They include Supply and Delivery of Personal Protective Equipment, Procurement of Transmission Line Insulators for Overhead Lines Maintenance Works.

Others are the Procurement of Conductors for Overhead Lines Maintenance Works and Tender for the Restoration of Collapsed Towers on Loiyangalani–Suswa Transmission Lines. 

KETRACO also stated that runs its tender on SAP ARIBA e-procurement platform. 

"The tender document detailing the requirements may be viewed by clicking on the link provided in KETRACO website (www.ketraco. co.ke) beginning Wednesday 26 April 2023." the advert read. 

"Complete tender documents shall be electronically submitted through SAP ARIBA platform on or before the dates as indicated in the table above for specific tenders."
