FALSE: Kithure Kindiki hasn't called out Ruto, Gachagua over Kinoti’s 'victimisation'

At no time did Kindiki talk about the exit of former DCI boss George Kinoti.

In Summary

•First, the story captured no quote of the Interior CS attacking Ruto and DP Gachagua.

•It instead took excerpts of his speech where he was addressing issues facing the police service.

A report by Kenyan Daily Post indicating that Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki called out President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for victimizing the former DCI boss George Kinoti is FALSE.

The report titled It was wrong for Ruto and Gachagua to victimize Kinoti – Interior CS Kithure Kindik now insinuates as things seem to be getting out of hand quotes a press conference that the CS addressed on Monday, November 14.

The Fact-Checker has debunked the report and can now report that it is misleading.

First, the story captured no quote of the Interior CS attacking Ruto and DP Gachagua.

It instead took excerpts of his speech where he was addressing issues facing the police service.

The fact checker has also listened to the whole press conference address the CS made on Monday and there is nowhere Kindiki attacked the President and the DP over Kinoti.

In the presser, Kindiki based his speech on addressing the welfare of police officers and revealing the plan the government is having to combat the runaway insecurity across various parts of the country.
