A poster going viral on social media indicating that Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has advertised for various job opportunities is fake.

The post was shared by a section of Kenyans among them Dorcus Nawire on Facebook.

The fake advertisement indicated that Kenyans have until November 30, 2022, to apply for the jobs advertised.

The fact-checker has, however, established that the poster was not authored by KAA  as the organization has not advertised for the said positions.

In a statement on Twitter, KAA flagged the poster as fake and urged Kenyans to take caution to avoid falling victim to fraud.

KAA asked Kenyans to consider only job openings posted on their website.

“It has come to our attention that there is a FAKE advertisement associating @KenyaAirports

 with supposed job opportunities being offered at various airports in our network. Please note that all KAA vacancies are published on our website (http://kaa.go.ke). DO NOT BE CONNED!” KAA tweeted.
