Interior Ministry refutes claims of pocketless police uniforms

Ministry of Interior Kenya has stamped a tweet allegedly claiming that Interior CS Kithure Kindiki said police will be wearing pocketless uniforms as fake.

A page known as Record TV Kenya which showed it was verified had tweeted the claim.

“Kenya police to wear pocketless uniforms - CS Interior Kithure Kindiki,” the tweet read.

The ministry took to its official Twitter account to dismiss the claims saying they will always bring reforms that work well for the well-being of the police force.

 

“The government through Interior and National Police Service will continue to prioritise reforms that dignify the Police and complement their capacities for an effective discharge of their duties,” they tweeted.
