Emerging politico between a rock and hard place after Raila's death

An emerging political force is increasingly finding themselves between a rock and a hard place in balancing his ambition and respect for the party and the leadership. The man is being accused by some party officials of hatching a plan to up his stakes, especially among the young supporters, thus being allegedly insensitive during the mourning of their great party leader. Fearing that he could be misunderstood by his seniors, the man has been struggling to control his supporters to remain calm as the country mourns the veteran politician. Further fearing that he was not in very good terms with his party leader during the final days, he seemingly fears that he may be pushed out.

A well-known blogger is ostensibly finding himself in a difficult situation in trying to impress their new camp while not annoying his previous camp following the demise of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The blogger who previously backed the Raila camp struggled to explain his closeness to the former premier, but at the same time attempted to criticise and question his political prowess and capacity as a leader. However, the individual did not anticipate the backlash that would follow. How about being sensitive or just keeping quiet?

Has a politician from Mt Kenya taken a step back from her strong position following recent developments? Well the politician who until recently was a strong and vocal in supporting the government has seemingly made a haste retreat. The politician, who often accompanied leaders from the ruling party in various engagements, has been missing in action. Word has it her activities might have annoyed senior political leadership. The politico is allegedly also fearing that her continued association with the government will permanently hurt her political career.

A recent reshuffle in the Foreign Service clearly didn’t impress all and sundry. Two of the diplomats who were deemed to have been demoted or set to less prestigious posts have separately suppossedly  sent signals that they are not happy with the changes. One of them has already indicated they will be joining politics in coming months to seek an electoral seat.
