Lawmakers were on Tuesday afternoon treated to a rare drama. While enjoying tea at their lounge in the Parliament Buildings, they were shocked when two of their colleagues, both female, launched vulgar verbal attacks against each other.  Within no time, they grabbed each other's neck and wrestled to the ground. The dramatic scene shocked waheshimiwa, who had all along treated the two as buddies. Some of the lawmakers in the lounge rushed to separate them. It was unclear why the two MPs engaged in a fistfight that their colleagues termed as embarrassing not only to them but to the august House.

A politico from Western is distraught after apparently burning her fingers by an early declaration to pursue the top seat in her county. Whereas the good politician was supposedly banking on the support of a popular party, it is not coming forth as the outfit has given no sign of parting ways with its current representative. Worse, the key financiers were to only play ball if the party changed the candidate in her favour. Insiders say the politico is worried because she had vowed not to fight for any seat other than what she set eyes on.

A governor and deputy governor who are at loggerheads but have been hiding their beef from the public are finding it difficult to keep the feud under the carpet anymore.  The deputy has now realised that the bid to lock him out of the administration has been heightened after hired goons attempted to block him from accessing his office. This comes even as a vocal MP from the deputy's home reportedly bragged that he would engineer his ejection from office should he refuse to toe the line. The governor's communication team released a statement denying blocking of the besieged deputy from office after uproar. It is unclear how the two politicians, both with humongous egos, will work together ahead of the 2027 election.

With the looming reshuffle in the Executive, a PS in one of the lucrative state departments has reportedly tasked some bloggers to find out if he is among those targeted for transfer or removal. The man, scared of leaving his current post, is seemingly willing to do all he can, including publicising his achievements, to retain his job. But even as he embarks on a mission to paint himself as development-conscious, his colleagues and juniors purportedly can’t wait to see his back at the state department over alleged corruption and arrogance. Whether the hired bloggers will help the man to survive remains to be seen.
