A top state officer is at the centre of attention after it emerged that he has allegedly been soliciting for funds from one of the parastatals under his ministry to advance his political interests in his county. The man is reportedly accused of collecting the money under the guise of promoting a government campaign under his watch. It has, however, emerged that he has been supposedly using the money to hold political meetings in one of the high-end hotels. Several state CEOs have been overheard complaining about the man.

The ongoing Law Society of Kenya election campaign is not drama-free as the day of reckoning nears. A lawyer engaged in the politics of the entity and reportedly backed by decent funding from a powerful establishment is maximising his endowment. With the depth of his pocket, the man reportedly convinced a group of five keyboard warriors to drop his opponent – for a transfer fee of Sh100,000. His strategy is however threatened after part of the lot sneaked back to him and renegotiated a lower figure of Sh30,000 triggering a falling out in the digital savvy team.

A top official of a crucial ministry has been sent home after his three-year contract expired. The man supposedly got a thorough dressing down at a high office recently for failing to explain what efforts he had put in place to actualise some key projects. He was reportedly seen as seemingly clueless, having not delivered any project since he took office. The man apparently showed up at the meeting without a presentation and no list of ready projects to the chagrin of the senior government official he was to compare notes with.

A female staff at one of the road agencies has panicked. The lady has purportedly been frequently mentioned in corruption cases and it is evident her perceived enemies have renewed their war against her. Those pushing for her arrest are said to have approached several activists to write letters to anti-graft authorities to fast-track her arrest. Her academic papers are also said to be questionable. However, it's not clear whether the move will succeed given her powerful network.
