A county boss from one of the populous regions is under siege after he allegedly declined to approve some pending bills. The governor is said to have overruled a special task force that wanted some pending bills paid following an internal audit. However, when the report was tabled before the big boss, he was infuriated after a firm allegedly owned by one of the politicians from the county was approved. The politician is the governor's main critic in the devolved unit and even opposed his election during the campaigns. The MP has been discrediting the governor, especially over the pay pending bills.
