Drums of impeachment sounded for besieged Western governor

Is an impeachment motion in the works against a governor from Western Kenya? Corridors is aware that a senior political leader has reportedly asked his troops to go after the governor termed as 'rogue' by his people. A senior member of the county assembly was last week summoned to Nairobi where he attended a strategy meeting that was chaired by the politico. The meeting was also attended by a renowned lawyer who was briefed to guide the MCAs in drafting the charges against the governor. The crux of the matter is that the governor reportedly declined a request by the politico to enlist one of his proxy firms for a lucrative tender.
