A senior leader and besieged official of a party on Thursday night held a strategy meeting with some members of the party's National Executive Committee as he plots what many see as an ultimate exit from the troubled outfit. The meeting which lasted for hours, is said to have failed to agree on the proposed exit plan by the top honcho because of some financial arrears that he owes the party. The politico has indicated that he is on his way out of the party after falling out with some heavyweights within the coalition. The politician, who is said to be planning to join a big national outfit in the coming weeks, had been consulting widely over the last few weeks over his next political plans.
