A popular entertainment joint in Nyanza is said to have blacklisted an Azimio MP over his stand against Opposition leader Raila Odinga. A bird whispers to Corridors the legislator is no longer welcome at the club for being part of a team that is warming up to Kenya Kwanza administration. The MP has been a regular at the club since it opened its doors but staff now have instructions not to serve him or his guests when he shows up. The owner of the business was a close friend of the lawmaker and he reportedly funded the MP's campaign.

An MP from a constituency in Western was discussed at a meeting of school heads in the area. Principals castigated the lawmaker for not supporting education n the constituency for his years as an MP. A principal narrated how the MP was yet to visit her school when she was posted there in 2017. She compared and contrasted the MP with a legislator of the neighbouring constituency whose contribution to education has been recognised far and wide. The principals who have worked elsewhere said they find it extremely difficult to work with the MP. They said heads who work in other regions are normally motivated by the local community and leaders.

A CEC from a county government in Rift Valley is on the radar of the county assembly over claims of earning double salary. Corridors understands the man who previously served as a senior official in the county, still pockets salary from his previous job in addition to the current one. The officer who has also been in the spotlight for allegedly coercing contractors and colleagues for kickbacks, is also being sought by the ward reps for allegedly manipulating payroll and including at least 97 ghost workers who draw Sh3 million monthly.
