The county chief has allegedly pocketed Sh15 million from a former county employee from the Northeastern region to give him a job at his office. The employee has promised to deliver the remaining Sh25 million after the issuance of the letter of appointment by the County Public Service Board. The former employee used to hold a plum job and has multiple accounts in foreign countries, including the UAE and South Africa, among other nations. Already, his brother is waiting to be appointed as a county chief officer.
