Surprisingly, most of these candidates are lightweights who were awarded nomination tickets by their parties. Insiders claim the politicians have been relying on their party leader to visit the region and endorse their bids. But this is now appearing impossible with a few days to the polls and the packed diary of the party leader. Residents are now wondering why the politicians decided to keep snakes in their pockets and have pledged to teach them a lesson next week.
