The head of one of the biggest state corporations is being investigated for abuse of office, corruption and, most surprisingly, sexual harassment. The man has had his fingers in the cookie jar for a while and is about to make Sh800 million from a Sh4.4 billion deal. On matters of sex, the manager is said to prey on junior officers, and those who refuse his advances are transferred to hardship stations. So insatiable is the man that he is also in a serious relationship with a city politician's wife and has already ordered HR to hire her at a staggering salary. Amongst the evidence against him is CCTV footage showing him receiving money at a government facility.

The two who met to share the spoils from a deal they had jointly executed disagreed on the sharing formula and the cut they were to offer their boss to continue protecting them. So acrimonious was their conversation that at one point one of two boys in blue who was there drew his pistol and placed it on the table in protest. Corridors is informed that when a truce failed, they opted to spend the loot on expensive tipples.

Is a political party planning to force a senatorial candidate in one of the cosmopolitan counties to withdraw his candidature? Well, sources within the outfit intimate that since the candidate was cleared by the IEBC to run for the seat, he has never hit the campaign trail. Worse, he never accompanies the party leader on campaigns, even if the boss campaigns in the county. The party honchos are now said to be fearing they might lose the seat if they don't act fast to get the candidate to start campaigning or pull out of the race and and be replaced by a 'serious' person.
