A presidential aspirant in the race to State House (pictured) shocked the country when he assembled media personalities, opinion leaders and mobilised crowds to witness the launch of a motorcycle at county headquarters. He invited a who's who list of personalities. The pedestrian stunt that has elicited ridicule was meant to extol the foremost principal of a coalition as an approachable, caring and selfless leader. The move attracted a torrent of taunts, so party honchos galvanised a battalion of online warriors to terrorise anyone who dared question the reasoning behind the self-serving photo op.

A first-term governor whose county is not far from Nairobi is spreading himself thin to please a peculiar harem of lovers. Long-time friends have been dispatched to scout for sensually mature and sultry widows. Corridors understands the governor holds that such unwed variety is not problematic and easy to navigate . The move is said to have almost broken the family of the county chief. Respected elders had to be involved to convince his immediate family, who have not accepted his appetite for lonely widows.

A principal in one of the upcoming alliances was over the weekend heard complaining to his drinking buddies that a leading presidential contender is ignoring him. He complains he's being reduced to a junior partner who cannot be taken seriously to make a deal. The principal who recently held a big event for the political party he is leading complained that the contender is talking to everybody else for support but him. He told his friends that the contender appears to assume that he will just support him automatically without being persuaded. It feels bad to be ignored in the ongoing negotiations for political deals, he told his colleagues to a loud laughter. It is a wait and see.
