A legislator from Western Kenya eyeing the governor's seat in his county is said to be considering going for the seat on a different party ticket other than the one that sponsored him to Parliament. A bird whispered to Corridors that the legislator has learnt that people close to his party leader have vowed to deny him the ticket come 2022. The reason? The legislator has been associating with leaders from a rival party in and outside Parliament. So to avoid embarrassment at the last minute, the legislator is said to be shopping for another party that enjoys some level of popularity in the region.
