  • A foreign national who lives and operates a church in Nairobi’s Kilimani area is a man under siege.
  • A popular analyst is in trouble for his philandering ways.

For the past week, the National Police Service has been in the news all for the wrong reasons. Corridors has been informed of a senior policewoman who colluded with a woman representative to cover up an incident. A source has told Corridors the woman rep’s son crashed a car assigned to his mother. The young man, who is reported to be arrogant, has been using the affirmative action vehicle fitted with a private number plate for personal business. Junior officers say their efforts to arrest the MP have hit a dead end and want Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai to order investigations into the mater and arrest her. A police officer told Corridor that letting the MP go scot-free will be entrenching impunity.

A foreigner who lives and operates a church in Nairobi is a man under siege. Those in the know say that after forging building approval plans from City Hall, the man recently won a case in which he had been charged with forgery. However, the man is not yet off the hook since he reportedly bribed some government officials through a city politician. The senior government officials advised some officers at City Hall to appeal the ruling so the man can be charged afresh.

Representatives of an international organisation with offices in Nairobi are said be biting their fingers over the overzealous attitude of some top government officials based at State House. A mole in the institution has told Corridors that government has been taking loans ostensibly to pay salaries for unexplained consultancies under the guise of a programme undertaken by the government. A group of consultants hired to supervise the crucial project have been earning up to Sh3 million a month to the chagrin of Kenyans who cannot question spending directly.

A popular analyst is in trouble for his philandering ways following revelations that he has been taking advantage of his fame to bed the lasses. Efforts by the analyst to blame politics for his debacle were met by irate mob on social media who called him out. The man, who is enjoying a rare vein of success, has been going hammer and tongs at a certain political heavyweight to appease his bosses and ostensibly to raise his perks. The scandal will certainly devastate his fledgeling career.
