The supposed lover of a parastatal boss is alleged to be behind mega tender deals at the institution. Her companies are reportedly fronted by the CEO, who is said to be also a director in the woman’s companies. An insider said the two are always together at a high-end hotel in Nairobi, seemingly cutting deals with suppliers. For one to win a lucrative tender at the state corporation, they have to apparently go to the hotel to cut deals with the two lovebirds. The CEO is said to have been a close associate of a former CS in the last regime, and has been apparently trying to get connections in Kenya Kwanza.
