First Lady Rachel Ruto flagged off a cleanup exercise in Nyawira Road Narok county and later handed more than 100 dustbins.
The exercise on Monday is a transformation programme under her Mama Doing Good Initiative.
The First Lady will be undertaking the programme in Narok Town from August 7 to 8.
Also, accompanying Mama Rachel was Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu.
Ntutu said he had earlier conducted spot checks and documented the sanitation requirements for Narok.
"The rollout of the City Transformation Programme by the First Lady is a major boost to the interventions that my administration has put in place to ensure a clean, safe, and habitable town and county at large," he said.
Mama Rachel also led a tree planting exercise at St Mary's Secondary School before joining St Mary's Primary School for 60 years celebration.
At the celebration, Mama Rachel launched the Mama Fruit Gardens initiative and handed over fruit tree seedlings to 10 primary schools.
