The music industry is mourning Herbalist, alias Mwax Producer, the small brother of the late K-rupt, after his death on Tuesday.
His mother died in March 2021 and his legendary brother, Carlton Juma alias K-rupt, died in November 2003.
His friend in the industry described him as a good person who was friendly to all his friends.
Rapper Nazizi told Word Is his death is a huge loss for the entire music industry.
"He is just one of those great people that the industry had, very talented, humble, and a positive guy in general," she said.
"I feel we have lost a large part of the industry with Mwax passing away."
Before his death, Mwax often talked about going through depression and working to overcome it.
"Depression is real. It comes in many forms and people have many go-tos to remove depression. For me, it was eating, for some other people, it is drinking and whatnot," he wrote in 2018.
Rapper Nonini described him as a very positive guy.
"Condolences to the entire family, poleni sana,” he wrote.
Nameless, who returned to the country early this week, said he was welcomed with the sad news.
"Landed to some really sad news of the passing of K-rupt’s small bro. Rest in Peace, bro," he wrote.
A few months ago, Mwax talked about a few friends who held him up during his tough times.
"Leme tell ya’all a story about these four guys… When I was giving up on music, they made sure I stayed on," he wrote.
"They saw me through the harsh times I was in the past year, when I discovered I had a heart condition. Together with my family, they took care of me, got me back on my feet in their own ways… I owe you guys a lot."
The late Mwax was the founder of Herbal Records Production House and worked with legends like Wyre the Lovechild, Nazizi Hirji and Bigpin Jatelo.
