Deputy William Ruto led the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team to Wajir County on Thursday for his presidential bid campaigns.
During the rally, the DP said inclusion and empowerment, especially of ordinary Kenyans are founding principles of their alliance.
“We will invest in and lift up marginalized areas to unlock their full economic potential creating opportunities for a new generation of Kenyans while expanding our national economy at the same time. That’s part of Kenya Kwanza's agenda,” Ruto said.
Ruto was accompanied by ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetang'ula of Ford Kenya.
The MPs who accompanied the DP were Mohamed Kolosh (Wajir West), Aden Duale (Garissa Township), Kithure Kindiki (Tharaka Nithi), Hassan Omar (Former Senator Mombasa), Abdirahaman Ali Hassan (Former Senator), Aspirants Ahmed Mukhtar (Governor), Shallow Abdulla (Senate), and Mohammed Elmi, (Deputy Governor).
Others are Nasri Sahal (Women Rep), Ugas Sheikh Mohamed (Governor ANC), Abdirashid Yusuf (DG ANC), Noor Aden (Senator ANC), Meymuna Osman Gabow, (Women Rep ANC), and a host of MCAs.
