Safaricom has opened its Western Kenya regional headquarters at Tuff Foam Mall, Kisumu, which will serve 10 counties in Nyanza and Western. They are: Busia, Bungoma, Homa
Bay, Kakamega, Kisii, Kisumu, Migori, Nyamira, Siaya, Vihiga and parts of Narok county, including Kilgoris town and its environs.
The telco also opened a revamped Safaricom Shop in Kisumu town. Chief executive Bob Collymore said customers will have access to Safaricom services at the customer care desks in dealer outlets across 16 towns. “Two years ago, we embarked on a regionalisation strategy with the aim of consolidating our investments to better serve our customers, wherever they may be across the country. This strategy has led to increased convenience for Safaricom customers,” Collymore said.
