Turkana woman representative Joyce Emanikor has backed the ‘no violence during elections’ initiative in the county.
Women in the county, led by the Maendeleo Ya Wanawake chairperson Jennifer Lobongon, will today hold peaceful demonstrations in Lodwar town to urge aspirants to conduct peaceful campaigns. “We cannot afford to lose a single life,” Emanikor said yesterday.
