State official crudely arm-twists poor widow to sell her land

A top state official from Nyanza is on the spot for allegedly threatening and intimidating a widow back in the village to sell land to him. Corridors understands after the widow refused to sell, official has now reportedly resorted to crude means to force her to surrender the land adjacent to his. He has reportedly sent a surveyor to intimidate the widow who has reserved the parcel as her children’s inheritance. The helpless woman is pleading for help for fear of losing her property.
