Police had a hard time trying to quell protests in Nairobi's Kibra area.
The youth were protesters who were trying to march to Ngong' Road and head to the CBD.

The move by the police to stop them from heading to the CBD left them frustrated, hence lit bonfires and barricaded roads in the area.
This led to a cat-and-mouse chase as the police put out the fires in an attempt to ensure normalcy is restored.
