Pedestrians are now at a risk of falling off when using the footbridge.

A pedestrian foot bridge that is supposed to give road users a safe passage over the Nairobi expressway has the protective guardrails vandalized and stolen exposing users to the risk of falling off near Safaricom stage along Waiyaki Way, Nairobi on August 31, 2022.
A pedestrian footbridge along Waiyaki Way near Safaricom stage has been vandalised and its guardrails stolen.
The footbridge poses a great danger to pedestrians who use it to cross the road.
Pedestrians are now at risk of falling off when using the footbridge.
The protective guardrails have been removed on both sides of the bridge.
Pedestrians are seen still using the footbridge which not only poses a great danger to adults but also children.
