This will be the first time professional golfers are featuring in the annual KGU Chairman’s Cup, which is usually a preserve of amateur golfers.
KGU chairman Anthony Muhoro said the professionals and amateurs competing for the Golfer of the Year (Goty) series will play together in a Pro-Am event.
“We have set aside Sh200,000 as prize money for the professionals in the Chairman’s Cup,” said Muhoro. The professionals participation has been made possible by funding from Sidian Bank, formerly K-Rep, who are bumping in Sh1 million.
