President William Ruto is today expected to lead the Kenya School of Government's (KSG) centenary celebrations and officially open a high-level policy dialogue on building national wealth and global competitiveness at the institution's Lower Kabete campus.

The President is scheduled to unveil the KSG centenary commemorative plaque, launch the Raila Odinga Regional Leadership and Governance Academy plaque, sign the visitors' book and receive a briefing on the institution's 100-year milestone before addressing guests.

The event will also feature a high-level panel discussion on Kenya's economic transformation and global competitiveness, bringing together Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o, ambassadors from China, France, Italy and Azerbaijan, and South Korean academic Jeom Seok Baek.

The programme will include the recognition of graduating public service officers, presentation of awards to top-performing candidates and remarks by senior government officials, including Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, Principal Secretaries Raymond Omollo, Jane Imbunya and Shadrack Mwadime.

In the afternoon, experts and policymakers will lead discussions on Kenya's transition to first-world status, public service reforms, education, agriculture and policy changes needed to boost national wealth and global competitiveness.
