Kenya Utalii College (KUC) has announced 12 vacant positions and invited qualified candidates to apply as it seeks to strengthen its leadership and management team.
The College Council said it is seeking experienced, innovative and vibrant professionals and team leaders who will provide sound, focused management and take full responsibility for implementing the college's strategic objectives.
The vacancies include Director of Academic Affairs, Director of Corporate Services/Administration, General Manager–Utalii Hotel, Deputy Director Students Welfare and Industrial Liaison, Deputy Director Academic and Students Affairs and Deputy Director Human Resource and Administration.
Others are Senior Principal Legal Officer, Dean of Students, Senior Principal Supply Chain Management Officer, Senior Principal Internal Auditor, Principal Research Officer and Principal Estate Management Officer.
The positions are spread across both contract and permanent terms of service. According to the advertisement, six of the positions will be filled on contract terms while the remaining six will be permanent appointments.
The college clarified that contract appointments are not fixed indefinitely, stating that, “Those on contract are renewable once subject to performance and retirement age.”
The institution further directed prospective applicants to obtain detailed information regarding the advertised positions from its official website.
“Detailed information about the specific position, duties and responsibilities, minimum requirements, terms of service and remuneration, and application form is available on the KUC website," the notice said.
Interested candidates have been advised to submit both electronic and physical applications within the stipulated period.
The advertisement states, “Interested candidates are advised to submit applications through e-mail address: [email protected] as well as physical copies posted or delivered to the address below to be received on or before Tuesday, 14th July 2026.”
Applications should be addressed to the Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Utalii College and delivered to the institution's headquarters located off Thika Superhighway in Nairobi.
The college also reiterated its commitment to workplace diversity and gender equality by encouraging women, minorities and persons with disabilities to apply.
It warned that canvassing will automatically lead to disqualification. In addition, the institution instructed individuals who had previously applied for the advertised positions to submit fresh applications, emphasising that, “Those who applied need to apply again.”
The recruitment exercise comes as Kenya Utalii College seeks to enhance its administrative and academic leadership capacity in line with its mandate of training professionals for the hospitality and tourism industry.
