Wiper Patriotic Front Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa and Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua attended a Gen-Z memorial service at Nairobi Baptist Church, an annual event honouring victims of the June 2024 Gen-Z protests.

The service has become an annual event held to remember those affected by the protests.

The opposition leaders said they will declare June 25th a public holiday when they take power. They said the date will be recognised nationally in honour of Gen-Z protest victims.
