Kenya Pipeline Volleyball Club registered a 3-1 victory over Kenya Defence Forces Volleyball Team in the second edition of the Kenya Cup volleyball at Nyayo Stadium.

The match ended 25-17, 25-16, 24-26, 25-21, with Pipeline showcasing resilience and tactical discipline throughout the contest.

The team took an early advantage by winning the first two sets before facing a spirited fightback from KDF in the third set.

Despite dropping the third set 24-26, Pipeline maintained composure and held their nerve to close out the match in the fourth set, sealing the win.

Captain Gladys Ekaru delivered an outstanding all-round performance to lead her side.

Her efforts earned her the Most Valuable Player award, along with a trophy and a Sh2,000 voucher.
