Clinical officers staged a demonstration on Wednesday outside Afya House in Upper Hill, Nairobi, as their nationwide strike entered its third week.
The workers, members of the Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO), are demanding the full implementation of the Clinical Officers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Clad in their full attire, they camped outside the Ministry of Health headquarters, chanting slogans and holding placards to press their demands.
According to KUCO, the strike, which began on December 23, has paralysed services in many public health facilities.

They accused the government of failing to honour agreed terms in the CBA, including improved remuneration and better working conditions, warning that the protest would continue until the agreement is implemented.
