

Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary Stephen Isaboke was on Friday, December 5, awarded for exemplary service.
PS Isaboke received the award during the 2025 End of Year Public Service Reflection Dinner and Agenda Setting for 2026.
He was honoured for outstanding leadership in driving Public Service Transformation and delivering an Unmodified Audit Opinion.
“I was recognised for leadership in driving the public service transformation agenda and unmodified audit opinion,” PS Isaboke said.
“I receive the awards with humility, appreciation, and gratitude.”

While congratulating the PS, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) described the recognition as a “proud moment for us all.”
The event, convened by Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service Felix Koskei, brought together senior government officials to assess progress and set the tone for the year ahead.
During the ceremony, Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries were recognised and awarded for their exemplary service to the nation, having been ranked among the top leaders driving the public service transformation agenda in 2025.
The CSs and PSs reaffirmed their commitment to advancing excellence, accountability, and people-centred service delivery.
Themed “A highly performing, efficient, effective and people-centric Public Service,” the event brought together all Principal Secretaries, Heads of Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices, Chairs and Chief Executives of State Corporations, Directors-General, senior leadership across ministries and State Departments and officers from across the Public Service.

The Chief Guest was John Mbadi, Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury & Economic Planning.
Other guests who attended the event were Cabinet Secretaries Alfred Mutua (Labour and Social Protection), Geoffrey Ruku (Public Service), Julius Migos Ogamba (Education), Beatrice Askul Moe (EAC and ASALS), Wycliffe Oparanya (Cooperatives and MSME Development), and Opiyo Wandayi (Energy and Petroleum).
Others were Kisumu Deputy Governor Mathew Owili, COTU Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, alongside Principal Secretaries, legislators, leaders of Constitutional Commissions, Independent Offices, State Corporations, and public servants from across the country.
