The Mass, presided over by Father Steve, brought together family members, political leaders, and residents who gathered to pray and reflect on Beryl’s life.
Ruth said the show of solidarity had brought strength to the family, which has been grieving two major losses in a short span.

“We were joined by family and friends for a Mass in Memory of Beryl Achieng Odinga presided over by Father Steve. A special thank you to my colleagues: Hon. Dr. James Nyikal, Hon. Anthony Aluoch, Hon. Dr. Christine Ombaka, Hon. Okuome Adipo, Senator Muma, Hon. Dr. Lilian Gogo, the MCAs, and all who were present to console with us,” she said.



“The past 40 days since our brother Raila was laid to rest have been an immensely challenging period. Your support, solidarity, and prayers have been a cornerstone for us throughout this difficult journey, and we are deeply thankful,” she noted.
The Odinga family is set to continue funeral arrangements for Beryl as leaders and supporters rally around them with messages of comfort and support.

The appeal was shared by Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Odinga, who described her sister Beryl as a warm, generous, and deeply loved family member whose passing had left the family devastated.



The family also shared details of a dedicated funeral fund, inviting contributions through Paybill number 8002413, with the account name indicated as Your Full Name.
“Together, we extend our heartfelt comfort and solidarity to the family she loved so dearly,” the statement read, noting that the event will serve both as a memorial and an opportunity to support the funeral arrangements.
