within the town, police say.
The driver lost his consciousness
before he found himself in Kipkebe Tea Plantation in Sotik, Bomet County, almost
200 kilometres away.
His car was missing together with his
personal valuables when he was found the following day.

and taken to the local police station, where he made the report, police said.
The driver was later taken to the
hospital for attention amid probe.

In a different incident, a teacher was robbed of Sh280,000 moments after he had
withdrawn some of the money from a bank in Nandi Hills Town, Nandi county.

happened after the suspected thieves broke into his parked car on Friday
November 7, 2025.
He said he was to pay for a teachers’
conference to be held in Mombasa between November 8 and 13.
He had arrived
at Nandi Hills town while in possession of Sh85,000 and later withdrew an
additional Sh174,000 from the bank.
He kept the whole amount in his bag and proceeded to a local petrol station for shopping, leaving the bag in his motor vehicle.
He returned after five minutes only to find the
passenger door open and the cash, a laptop, a cheque book and a list of the
members for the conference missing.
Police were called to
the scene and processed it. The police are reviewing security cameras in the
area to get more information on the same.
The police suspect
the teacher was sold out by his close friends, who knew about the
