The Kenya Pipeline Foundation (KPC Foundation) has commissioned a Sh4
million water project at Set Kobor JSS Primary School in Solai Ward, Rongai
Constituency, Nakuru County, bringing clean and reliable water to 385 students
and the surrounding community.
The project, which includes drilling and solarisation of a borehole, is part of the Foundation’s efforts to enhance access to safe water in underserved areas.

Area leaders, including Rongai MP Paul Chebor, MCA Nixon Morogo, and Hon. Doreen Korir, joined KPC Foundation staff at the commissioning ceremony.

Speaking at the event, KPC Wayleave Manager Stanley Manduku said the initiative underscores the Foundation’s commitment to improving health, education, water, and sanitation standards, particularly for communities living along the Right of Way.

The Foundation has made similar investments in Nakuru, including constructing and equipping three classrooms at St. Joseph Primary School for Sh 6 million, building classrooms at Nairobi Road Primary School, and organising three free medical camps that have benefitted thousands of residents.

Beyond Nakuru, KPC Foundation has implemented
water projects in Nairobi, Meru, and Kajiado counties, donated water tanks, and
drilled boreholes in various learning institutions, reflecting its broader goal
of bridging the water access gap and improving livelihoods across the country.
