Teachers across the country can expect a wave of reforms and improved welfare following a high-level meeting between President William Ruto and more than 10,000 representatives of unions and associations at State House.

In an address laced with pledges, Ruto assured teachers that his administration is committed to dialogue rather than confrontation in addressing their grievances.
