The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released the placement results for students who applied for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake.
In a statement on Friday, KUCCPS urged applicants to log into the KUCCPS Student Portal to confirm their placement status.
“Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal to check,” KUCCPS announced.
To check status, students are required to visit students.kuccps.net, log in using their KCSE index number, KCSE year and password and then view their placement results.
For passwords, applicants are advised to use their KCPE index number or birth certificate number.
The placement service has also opened a window for inter-institutional transfer requests for those wishing to switch institutions.
Deadline for inter-institutional transfer is August 24, 2025.
Students placed in KMTC programmes are expected to follow the instructions provided on the portal to prepare for admission.
On June 23, 2025, KUCCPS opened its portal for applications to KMTC’s September intake.
The window remained open until July 7, allowing prospective students to apply for preservice certificate and diploma courses.
Applicants interested in higher diplomas, upgrading programmes or short courses were directed to use the KMTC portal at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke.
A week before the portal opening, the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) had opened its application window for KMTC students.
This initiative, done in partnership with KMTC, aimed to support students financially by providing loans to cover tuition and other related costs.
KUCCPS reported 26 available programmes for the September intake, across both diploma and certificate levels.
In a statement, HELB said the application process is open to both new and continuing students.
“All students applying must follow the outlined steps
carefully to ensure a successful application,” KMTC stated.
