Gachagua, who left the country on Wednesday night, will also engage other international stakeholders.
In his tour of the US, Gachagua is accompanied by his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
“I arrived at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington to kick off my diaspora engagement with Kenyans in the USA,” Gachagua noted in a statement on his X.

“I was warmly welcomed by jubilant Kenyans here, and I am truly excited.”
He further noted that he intends to discuss issues affecting Kenya as a country during his diaspora engagement.
Pictures and videos of his arrival showed that the DCP party leader was treated to a warm welcome by a group of his supporters who had anticipated his arrival.
They were seen all smile as they welcomed him chanting , singing and dancing.
“The love and support I received is unmatched,” he stated.

The trip marks Gachagua’s first travel abroad since his removal from office in October 2024.
On the evening that Gachagua left Kenya, at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, he seen off by several allies, including Nyandarua Senator John Methu, Kirinyaga Woman Representative Jane Njeri Maina, former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, and other leaders.
Gachagua, who now leads the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), revealed last month that he would undertake a two-month tour of the US.

He is expected to visit Dallas, California, Seattle, Boston, and Baltimore, where he will hold town hall meetings and attend social gatherings to promote his agenda for the diaspora community.
While he is yet to formally declare his candidacy for the 2027 General Election, Gachagua has vowed to rally support to ensure President William Ruto serves only one term.
Sources indicate that Gachagua is also scheduled to meet US
investors reportedly interested in partnering with the opposition ahead of the
2027 elections.
