Head of Public Service Felix Koskei has assured Kenyans of government's commitment to a citizen-centered service provision.

Speaking in Mombasa during ExecutiveKE caucus convention, Koskei reiterated his office's dedication to building a responsive, inclusive and transparent public service.

These includes strengthening digital infrastructure, capacity building for public servants, promoting inclusive participation, reducing corruption and leveraging technology for greater transparency.

Koskei called on public servants to serve with integrity to foster disciplined execution of services across government agencies.

"I urge you to strengthen peer accountability as you work toward accelerating the government delivery and aligning with Bottom-Up economic Transformational Agenda as directed by the president," se said.

Tasked with managing operations and and supervising public service staff, Koskei also emphasised the need for public sector chief executives to elevate Institutional consistency in a way that will servetthe public better.

The event was attended by Principal Secretaries and other senior government officials from state corporations.

It aimed at ensuring seamless delivery and discipline in all levels of government as it aims to foster trust, drive development and align government services with the needs of all citizens.

The chairman of the ExecutiveKE Caucus, Josiah Moriasi, took the opportunity to ask the CEOs to work to strengthen synergy in implementing government’s priority programmes and national development agenda as well as have structured conversation around the welfare of CEOs during their terms and after their exit.

"We must face the reality. We serve in positions where reappointments are not guaranteed, even in the face of stellar performance. The welfare infrastructure for CEOs particularly post-service remains largely undefined. This void cannot be ignored," Moriasi said.
