Police have launched investigations into a suspected murder incident involving a woman after neighbours said she had an altercation with her boyfriend in Kamkunji Sub County, before her body was found dead.

Ndanu Mutiso, 27 years old, was found dead inside a rental house in the Ogopa area, Mowlem.

According to police, her body had visible injuries on the neck and deep cuts on both hands.

The landlord discovered the body through a window while inspecting the property.

Neighbours claimed Ndanu had argued with her boyfriend during the night.

Police from Mowlem and DCI Dandora broke into the house and processed the crime scene.

The body was moved to Mama Lucy Kibaki Mortuary pending autopsy.

Elsewhere in  Narok County, a domestic quarrel turned tragic after a son, 20 years of age, attacked his father, Edward Letaiya, while allegedly intoxicated at their home in Shartuka, Engosipa sub-location.

In an attempt to defend himself, Letaiya sustained injuries to his left arm and fled, shouting for help.

His nephew intervened and reportedly inflicted deep cuts on his forehead and hands using a sharp object.

The youth was rushed to Narok County Hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday at 7:00 am.

Police have launched a manhunt for Karia as investigations continue.

In another incident in  Bungoma County, two suspects linked to the brutal killing of George Oduori on the night of June 8 at Kibindoi "B" village were arrested following an intelligence-led operation.

The suspects identified were nabbed at Kabkara village in Namubila; however, the murder weapon is yet to be recovered.

Police continue with investigations under DCI Bungoma West.

Meanwhile, in Nakuru County, a grim case of mob injustice was reported in Kathima village, Maai Mahiu.

An unidentified middle-aged man was lynched and partially burned by a mob under unclear circumstances.

Police who rushed to the scene retrieved the charred body, which has been moved to Naivasha Level Four Hospital mortuary.

Investigations have been launched and an inquest opened.

The police are investigating the incident, urging the public not to take the law into their own hands.

These developments come amid growing concerns over rising violent crimes across various countries, prompting calls for tighter community policing and mental health support services to curb escalating domestic disputes and vigilante justice.
