Kenya Power staff at work.Kenya Power has announced areas in various counties across the country that have been earmarked to face scheduled power interruption on Friday May, 9.
The areas fall in four counties. They will face power cuts at diverse times between 8.30am and 5pm.
The power interruption is aimed at facilitating system maintenance.
Counties to be affected include Nandi, Kisumu, Tharaka Nithi and Mombasa.
Nandi
Parts of Nandi will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They are Belekenya and adjacent customers.
Kisumu
Areas in Kisumu will experience power interruption from 9am to 3pm.
They include Jumbo Mattress, Nyamasaria, Rabuor, Nyamasaria Bakery, Rabuor, Korowe, No Okana and adjacent customers.
Tharaka Nithi
Parts of Tharaka Nithi are set to face power interruption from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
They are Kathwana Market, Kathwana County Headquarters, Materi Hospital, Nkarini, Ciakariga, Komarock Hospital, Marimanti Mortuary and adjacent customers.
Mombasa
Areas in Mombasa will experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm.
They are the Mwache Dam and its adjacent customers
