AG’s office, Rongo University, and Nacada advertises job vacancies

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have announced 22 job openings in various departments.

In an advertisement in the weekly publication, MyGov, the office is seeking to recruit 10 accountants, two public communication officers and 10 clerical officers.

Interested candidates, it said, must complete an application form available at the OAG and DOJ offices, with applications due by May 16.

“OAG&DOJ is an equal employer committed to diversity and gender equality within the organisation and therefore encourages persons with disabilities, women, youth, and those from marginalised areas to apply,” said Solicitor General Shadrack Mose.

Separately, Rongo University has advertised six vacancies- three in administration and three in academics.

The university is seeking two registrars for academic affairs and planning, a farm manager, and three grade 12 lecturers in special needs education.

Applications must be received by May 20, 2025, reads the notice.

Those interested have also been advised to contact their referees and request them to send reference letters to the above address in sealed envelopes.

The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), on its part, is inviting applications for the position of Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts.

Interested candidates must indicate the job reference number on both the application and envelope, and submit a detailed CV, academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and a copy of their national ID.

“Applicants whose background and competencies match the requirements of the job are invited to apply by submitting a cover letter, detailed curriculum vitae (CV), a copy of the National Identity Card, copies of academic and professional certificates and transcripts and other relevant testimonials either via email to [email protected] or hard copy to the above address,” it states.

Applications should be addressed to the authority’s CEO by May 27.
