KPLC: Areas in 3 counties scheduled for power cuts Friday

Kenya Power has listed areas in three counties scheduled for power interruption on Friday.

The power interruption will occur between 9 am and 5 pm in the different counties.

“The listed areas will be affected by planned power maintenance tomorrow, February 14, 2025. The interruption is part of network maintenance,” Kenya Power said in a statement on Thursday.

The counties to be affected are Kisumu, Kakamega and Nyamira.

Kisumu

Parts of Kisumu will experience power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Kona Mbaya, Magodu School, Kona Legio Manyatta Market, Koyango Market, and adjacent customers.

Kakamega

Areas in Kakamega will experience power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Sigalagala Technical, Bukuru Institute, Mukumu Boys, Mukumu Girls, Mukumu Hospital, Bushianyala Technical and adjacent customers.

Nyamira

Some areas in Nyamira are set for power disruption from 9am to 4pm.

The areas include Ikonge, Nyankono, Erekenyo, Obwari, Nyamusi, Gekendo, Kebabe, Yaya Centre, Biego, Nyaramba and adjacent customers.
