The team has already been commissioned to be goodwill and peace ambassadors of Kenya to the continent of Africa; by His Excellency the Prime Cabinet Secretary of Kenya on December 2 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre during the 60th Anniversary of Kenya’s Diplomatic Journey Celebrations.

“Our mission is two-fold: to celebrate the beauty and diversity of our continent as we fund-raise to establish the LOGOS Endowment Fund in support the education of underprivileged Youth in Kenya to break the cycle of poverty through transformational education,” says Nick Korir.

For Nick, these two passions resonate deeply with him, merging his love for the Youth of Africa and Adventure Motorcycling.

They have been in preparation for this ride 2 years, now.

“The last couple of months have been intense as we prepare ourselves mentally for by logistically walking through each day of this historic trip; physically, to ensure our bodies are in the right form and emotionally by depositing relational capital in our families because we will be away for a long time,” says Nick.

This is the third time that Korir, who is also the Senior Pastor at the Nairobi Chapel will be embarking on a ride like this.

In December 2013, together with a group of other bikers, they set off from Nairobi to Cape Town over 50 days totaling up 10,000kms and late on; Ride 47, a tour across Kenya on bike with a mission to ‘Educate Kenya, County by County’.
