Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that he will rally behind President Ruto in the realization of the Kenya Kwanza manifesto.
Gachagua spoke on Saturday during the burial ceremony of Mzee Gerald Gikonyo Kanyuria, Kangema, Murang'a.
Kanyuria was the landlord of Nairobi's Sabina Joy Building
He said that he is busy implementing the projects and assignments given by President Ruto.
"I don't have time for politics, all I need is for our people to unite and speak in one voice," he said.
He criticised leaders who have been busy fighting him for no basis.
Gachagua said that he will continue fighting for the interest of the people of the Mt Kenya region.
"You people don't know what you are doing, I'm busy helping President Ruto and uniting the community," Gachagua said.
He noted that the ground has shifted and the people are listening to him as the region leader.
"People are listening to me as their leader, let those fighting the unity continue," he said.
