President William Ruto’s administration has given former President Uhuru Kenyatta a lucrative and legal retirement facilitation.
Documents obtained exclusively by the Star indicate a total of 33 staff, requested by Uhuru himself, are already on the State payroll.
Uhuru also has access to nine top-of-the-range motor vehicles, bought, fuelled and maintained by the taxpayer.
However, Uhuru’s office strongly rejected the claims of a generous package, saying the office has been crippled by budget freezes.
