Two people are believed to be trapped in rubble after a building collapsed in Fuata Nyayo estate in South B, Nairobi.

The Kenya Red Cross said in a brief that one person had been rescued.

The building that collapsed while it was being demolished, the humanitarian agency said.

"One person has been rescued, while two others are suspected to be trapped after a building being demolished collapsed in Fuata Nyayo, South B, Nairobi. Rescue efforts are ongoing," the Red Cross said in a statement on X.
